Young Eagles Rise

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?”

Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.

I’m at work. I’m working on a sermon then everything goes blank. I ask the Holy Spirit to help me. I heard, “get a pen and paper.’

I see eagles rising, young eagles stirring in the nest. They are hungry. They’ve been waiting for this moment. Now is their time to take flight. I have prepared them for such a time as this; now I send them out into the world. I send them as sheep among wolves (Matthew 10:16). They are the ones who sought me. They are the ones who cried out for the lost, the hungry and the naked. They are the ones I have nourished to bring forth the harvest. Look. See? My fire is in them. See their wings? Wings of fire. They rise up like mighty warriors armed for battle and they are ready for battle. In their mouths is the double edged sword (Hebrew 4:12). In the hands is the sickle for the harvest (Joel 3:13). Rise up young warriors. Rise up and win souls for the kingdom. (Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit)

I received this word yesterday but the vision is still very fresh and vivid. Many have prayed. Many have cried out to God and the Lord has heard and is answering prayers. We have seen many killed because of their faith yet, the Lord of the harvest is still sending out harvesters; they are willing to go knowing fully well they will be among wolves. It takes courage to answer the call of God on your life and pursue it with fervency. In some parts of the world, being a Jesus lover and follower is a dangerous thing yet, as His love was poured out on Calvary’s close most picked up their cross, hell was put on notice. Jesus said, I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18) The enemy uses fear to intimidate those who have committed to picking up their cross yet it was love that was poured out for all, it was Love that conquered it all.  That Love is Jesus Christ. (John 3:16) (John 15:13)
